I have a strange issue with the newest chimera 4.0 and Mavericks 10.9.4: iTunes just crashes with "iTunes quit unexpectedly." message. I tried with uninstalling, and erasing everything iTunes related, then installed iTunes 11.4. It works at first start, but then start crashing again. The console reports a long list of "Failed to create replacement string" lines. Reinstalling iTunes a few times didnt help neither.

Ideas?
Should I go back to an older version of chimera? Originally, I installed this version so I can boot yosemite.

My config:
OSX: Mavericks 10.9.4
MB: Asus p5ql-epu
CPU: CoreQuad q6600
GPU: AMD R9 270 Sapphire

I tried with downgrading to chimera 3 & 2 but the issue remains. Seems chimera is not the problem, although it all started with upgrading to version 4.
