Hi people,

iTunes-Error-4001.jpg

Not sure when this error started to show up with iTunes Match but it's been more than a month now and it's annoying like hell.
Been looking for a solution on the net and tried several suggested options of which none work for me.
Signing out and back in = No Go.

Open iTunes and click the Store tab on the menu bar.

Hold down the Option Key (⌥) and at the same time click ‘Turn Off iTunes Match’.

Click Store on the menu again, then click ‘Turn on iTunes Match’ (but don’t hold down anything this time, just click it).
=No Go.

Anyone had this problem and knows the correct solution to this problem?

Thanks in Advance,

Ramon

Thanks for your reply Beelzebozo.

However I went thru the whole thread and unfortunately there's nothing in there I haven't tried yet.
Truly hope this problem resolves itself or I will not be renewing iTunes Match.
It's a shame tho, cause I always hated iTunes and find Winamp a way better app but with a working iTunes Match it's
less of a bitter pil being stuck with it lol.

Changed from macpro to imac 12.2.

Now only time can tell if my problem is solved.
Takes a long time for iTunes to spit out an error lol.

One thing I noticed after rebooting is that my iStats processor degrees changed from 48 to 36.
I betcha that's a wrong output but I can life with that :)

- In iTunes open the 'Store' menu bar item
- Hold down the 'Option' key and click 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
- Now reopen the 'Store' menu bar item and normal click 'Turn On iTunes Match'

You're set!
