Is this the real end of hackintosh? M1 Macs

Here's why I'll keep using my hacks for many years to come. The new Macs are fast but I don't really need to open 50 apps all at once. The new Macs have no user upgradeable parts and if they do need to be fixed you can only take them to certified Apple repair specialists. I hate paying extra for extended Apple care. I like to fix and upgrade my own computers. Will I potentially buy an Apple Silicon laptop ? Probably at some point but for desktop computing I'm going with what I'm doing now for a long time.
It will only be "the end" when people give up and quit trying and spend all their money buying Apple Hardware. I don't see that happening in the next 4-5 years.

Yeah. Thats why even I'm going to keep my hacks. Apple products are too pricy in price to performance. And if you want to upgrade your ram or cpu at some point, you end up having to buy a new Mac.

I agree with trs96. Hackintosh is only what ever people (will) do with it. All my hackintoshes over the years were never the greatest or the fastest but get the (my) job done.
If history repeats itself we still 3-4 years on OSX x86 flavour to go for then may be then the Hackintosh will be frozen in time which whatever the latest OSX version supporting x86. It will be the same for any Apps for that matter.
But hey! I still have a working iMac and xServe PPC. On the iMac the old adobe suite (v3) still works great.
Bottom line enjoy today and tomorrow and do not worry for the day after tomorrow. If you do you will never do anything! I can relate to this for a very good personal reason.

I actually don't agree with that. Especially the M1 Macs seem to be quite good bang for the buck. Recently I was looking for a high end Laptop, Mac or Windows and ended up in buying a Windows device but actually it was not really much cheaper. I9 OctaCore, 32G, 1TB: HP Envy 15. The quality is far behind a 16" Mac, not to speak about Hardware/Software integration. I don't know a single machine, where Windows fits that glove-perfectly like MacOS on a Mac.

All depend what you're after!
People have to decide by themselves not by everyone else what they want from it.
I have a HP probook 640 g3 (7th gen) 2nd hand running Catalina and the cost of it compare to a MacBook Air from the same period is far more cheaper and I've got 1080p screen, mmy, etc... Granted Keyboard has no back light
Now buying top of the range M$ laptop will cost you nearly as much as a MacBook Pro and you still have to setup OSX and find out what's not compatible! Therefore buying a Mac might be a better option for a 'trouble free' life.
Bottom line you have to do the sum between:
Cost, Time to spend to 'build it', what's working or not, what I can leave on with or without.
Then make your choice and whatever you choose be happy with it!

and now when I think more about it, it is all clear why they didnt do anything with all that hack thing, because they knew this is going to be the end anyway

And even if, how many illumination levels? Even on a high end machin there are two at most. Alright, that's not a big deal but it says to me atleast, how seriously a manufacturer is at work here. With PCs I have a constant impression they're only moving within the "well that's what everybody else is doing" - alibi features. And use technology (other people's work like AMD, Intel and NVidia) to deliver better products. Integration and decently developed software are not on their agenda.
I have a hack (allright, 5-6 of them) but my respect goes to Apple when it comes to a serious, production level machine. My money obviously as well.
