Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on the compatibility of this build with Mavericks. Specs below.

CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 @3.20GHz (Quad Core)
Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce GTX 660 (2GB)
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M/CSM
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1Tb 7200RPM

I'd been having trouble with Mountain Lion, but Lion worked out of box with the exception of audio.

Thanks for your time,

The motherboard should work with the exception of the VIA audio, although you may be able to get that to work using VoodooHDA in MultiBeast. I believe it should also work with Mavericks but I can't be sure as you say you have problems with Mountain Lion.

What problems do you have with Mountain Lion?

Sorry, a little late.

My problems in Mavericks where that I could only boot with -x bootflag, no matter what I tried. At one point I got it working but it was not stable.

I forgot how, but I managed to get the right stuff done, and now I am running 10.9.2 mavericks stable, with touchy audio with Voodoo drivers. I just can't adjust the volume with volume buttons, have to do it from the voodoo prefPane.

Thanks for the reply in any way.
