Hi all,

I have got a PowerMac G5 (Dual 2.5GHz, 4GB DDR RAM) which is running Panther (10.3.9) which I should be upgrading to 10.5 as soon as possible.
I was wondering if there is a way or a hack that would allow me/us to install Snow Leopard on PPC. :beachball:

Thank you, Alex.

Nope. The powerPC G5 has a G5 processor which is a TOTALLY different architecture to the intel platform. 10.5 is the absolute latest version that you could run on any power pc end of. You also can't run windows on a power pc for the same reason however there are some versions of Ubuntu which can be run on a power pc however they are outdated. Even know they are early builds of ubuntu, They are probably still more capable that leopard in some cases. - Hope this helps :)
