Hi

I love my hackintosh and it runs like a charm, but wanted to see what score i got in Novabench.

NovaBench Score: 1022

Mac OS X 10.7.4
Intel Core i7 @ 3000 MHz

Why got my CPU 353? Its a 1155 i7 running at 3.5 (3.49) MHz, is it something wrong with my CPU or am i just crazy?

Post your results!

Seems like your CPU score is low. These results are from an HP ProBook 4530s with 8MB RAM and an i7-2670QM CPU running at 2.2 GHz. The low graphics score doesn't surprise me since it is using only the integrated HD3000 graphics.

If it is a Sandy Bridge make sure you install the proper SSDT in MultiBeast.

@MrCurop - From an i7-3770K (Ivy Bridge) running at 3.5GHz with 16MB RAM (directly comparable to yours with almost 3x your score). So I would say something is amiss in your setup. Once again, low graphics score due to use of the integrated HD4000 graphics:

Im installing the SSDT now!

If it is a Sandy Bridge make sure you install the proper SSDT in MultiBeast.

Once i did that i got my CPU score to 773 in total 1461, yay! But that is pretty bad for a i7?

I have the same processor and my GeekBench 64 bit score is 12514.

Edit: I just ran a test on NovaBench and your test are in specs.

I have the same processor and my GeekBench 64 bit score is 12514.

We have pretty much the same setups, and i got 11466. So i guess the SSDT fix my problem.

My Geekbench score without the SSDT installed was 5591!

Hey - thanks for starting this thread as it saved me having to :). I'm not sure if I would call this "similar" or not, but something is a bit amiss. I've got an LGA2011 6 core/12 thread processor in a Gigabyte X79 motherboard. I've got the "customization" set to iMac12,2 as per some instructions I've seen elsewhere. But here's what System Information gives me:

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac12,2
Processor Speed: 3.5 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 6
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 12 MB
Memory: 16 GB
Boot ROM Version: MultiBeast.tonymacx86.com
SMC Version (system): 1.30f3
Serial Number (system): C02FT7U2DHJP
Hardware UUID: 55ADE930-5FDF-5EC4-8429-15640684C489

The first question is, does it matter that it shows 1 processor at 6 cores insofar as the system performance is? Meaning, will it run with the 6/12 irrespective of what the reported hardware is?

Further, I got Novabench to better gauge performance given the different posts. Here are those results:

2012-11-26 19:29:54 +0000
Mac OS X 10.8.2

I have the exact card as the OP yet it is a few FPS slower. I've got 4 monitors so that may be that. I suppose I'm happy with MD5 generating 1.1million/sec and my hard drive at 302 MB/s (gotta love those SSDs!). But the CPU shows as 0 other than MD5. WTF?

I've tried both the i7 SSDT and the i5/i7 Overclocked SSDT without change to the reports or benchmark.

Can anyone shed some light on the CPU monkey business?
