Hi, I'm fixing whatever I can on my Hackintosh.

Initially I enabled only my RX580 by using Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext and I was getting ~10s to complete the Bruce 5K Test on FCPX. Now I finally enabled the QuickSync/Video Hardware acceleration by using also IntelGraphicFixup.kext and adding the following entries on Clover:

Acpi
- GFX0 -> IGPU patch
- PEGP -> GFX0 patch

Boot
- "-disablegfxfirmware" boot arg

Devices
- IntelGFX: 0x59128086

Graphics
- ig-platform-id: 0x59120003
- Enable "Inject Intel"

The iGPU is not displayed on the System Profiler but MacX DVD Ripper Pro (software which I don't use) says that the Hardware codification is enabled.
Now it takes ~13s to perform the Bruce 5K Test on FCPX, that is 3 more seconds than before.

My question is: is QuickSync still necessary nowadays? Should I enable the iGPU?
I'm using the Hackintosh both for video editing (on FCPX, BTW) and other tasks, including web browsing. I also use the iCloud Photo Library and iCloud in general, but I don't know if it takes advantages from QuickSync. I shoot on HEVC and HEIF formats from my iPhone X.

Thank you :)
