Yes, this build should work with MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and High Sierra. Your video card requires either Sierra or High Sierra for driver support.

I have the exact same setup but I did basic instructions- created UniBeast USB with High Sierra.
When I try to boot USB, I get to Clover but from there it will not boot to USB OS so I can reformat my SSD and run install of High Sierra from USB.
