Hi,

Recently I bought my brand new Laptop from hp. Below is my Machine description.

Model HP Pavillion 14-dv0054TU
BaseBoard Manufacturer HP
BaseBoard Product 87C9
BaseBoard Version 34.27
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz
Processor Family Tiger Lake
GPU Type iGPU
GPU Family Iris Xe Graphics
Installed RAM 16.0 GB

and for more information, I have attached the sysinfo file extracted from running Windows OS.

I'm going through a lot of guidelines, as this Transition of Apple to M1 from Intel CPUs is making it quite impossible to make macOS compatible with new Intel 11th Gen Mobile Processor-based Laptops (and is driving me crazy)

is it possible to make this machine a Hackintosh (Although, as referred to OpenCore Guidelines, so far Tiger Lake has been not explored or experimented to be supported and is the same with Iris Xe Graphics)?
Hello, I have the same problem with Intel Iris Xe graphics, have you found any solution...?
My laptop is Lenovo V15 G2; i5-1135G7;ntel Iris Xe graphics; 8 Gb ram.
I am looking for a solution for graphic acceleration but without success, I have Open Core and in the guides there is no history of anyone who has acceleration working with these graphics. If anyone can help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

The only way Iris Xe graphics will ever be supported is if Apple uses them in a Mac. Probably won't happen as we're more than half way through the Apple Silicon transition. The Mac Pro only uses Intel Xeons with no iGPU so there's zero chance that would get Iris Xe. Mac mini and iMacs have already switched to Apple Silicon. MBPs as well.

Yes, I have high hopes to be able to use Hackintosh with these specifications, but I have to wait for an update in the next 1-2 years. like my laptop, which used to be an Acer Aspier E5 475G, some didn't support it until I returned to Linux. But after I checked it was fully supported this year, maybe it's a matter of time.

doubt it as Apple has moved on to their own chips

possible and impossible, sometimes it can be done. but I see that Apple itself has complaints about its MacBook M2 because it overheats and heats up quickly on the CPU. but I always hope that only time will tell.
