is macOS 10.15.1 update safe for Hackintosh? (clean with WEG 1.3.4)

I'm running macOS 10.15 Catalina (upgraded from Mojave) on my Asus Strix Z390E Gaming + i7 9700K + Sapphire RX 580. Are there any tricks for upgrade?

I tried the upgrade now on my 9900K Gigabyte Designare w/ dual Vega 64 and I have lost graphics. The update has worked and I can SSH in to reboot my machine, but no graphics. I am running latest Clover 5098 and Lilu/Whatevergreen...


I am still trying to figure out what the problem is...

It seems the problem is with WhateverGreen. Last commit, which fixed 10.15.1 issue, was still not released.

The screen went blank when the installation started. (Monitor is connected to Display Port) This excited me a bit, but after the second reboot everything returned to normal. Thank you.

The whatevergreen fixed solved my black screen issues as well, but it looks like my iMessage and facetime are having issues now after the update. Is anyone else experiencing these issues
