Is little snitch currently safe to install?

High sierra installed. I installed little snitch and it got me stuck at boot, couldn't even get to the clover boot screen. So I reinstalled and have been living without LS for now. Wondering if there's been any improvement in compatibility. If anyone is running OS X HS and little snitch successfully, can you let me know the versions of both that you're using?

I read this and some other posts about issue with little snitch installation.

I've made a clone of my 10.14.6 Mojave system drive and tried it on that.
I can confirm little snitch 4 works for me without any issue!

Of course my advice is to play safe and test it on a clone of your system drive first!
