Can I make macOS ignore the power adapter when it's plugged-in? (not just stop charing, which means if I use my mac it will drain the battery)
There must be a way to achieve this, because I know an app named Aldente has a functionality call discharge. However Aldente stops to working on macOS Ventura (strangely not everyone) and I still prefer CLI style. An exactly same question was already submitted by me on Apple StackExchange, but no helpful answers yet...
I can code to implement this but just don't know how. Any help would be appreciated!
BTW, I know the existence of Apple SMC and the VirtualSMC (depends on Lilu) and has read through some of the threads about Lilu and VirtualSMC, maybe I can achieve what I want with the aid of them? Sadly, VirtualSMC's docs are really obscure, and I haven't find a way...
