I want to have raid 1 on a 4TB drive, thus having redundancy on 2TBs. Is this possible? If so how?
Thanks

What would be the point?

Raid-1 is here to recover from total HDD failure. If your one HDD raid-1 fails, you loose all your data! Raid-1 is no timemachine. You can not recover a file from the second partition if you delete/mess-up with it on the "first" partition (in fact you do not see 2 partitions but 1)

the point would be to have redundancy. This drive would be for cloud storage so I want to make sure I have some sort of safety net just in case a drive fails or something.
