Is it okay to boot up everytime with a usb thumbdrive

I find it hard to install kext and do the additional complex settings.

Actually when the laptop boot up with the unibeast thumb drive, everything works automatically.

So, can I always use this way to get it boot up so that I don not need to make any further modification to the build?

Your laptop will run hotter, use more power, and have less battery life.

This is because not everything will work from the USB. In particular, power management, and backlight control. There is probably a few more other things not working (such as audio, battery status, other?).

But it is your laptop, so do with it what you want...
