Hello,
I have a HP Elitebook 840 G1+BCM4352 with Yosemite working 100% (wifi+BT+sleep...).
The laptop includes a HP lt4112 Gobi 4G Module (branded name for Huawei ME906E), and it is seen under USB in system information.

http://consumer.huawei.com/en/solutions/m2m-solutions/products/tech-specs/me906e-en.htm

HP lt4112 Gobi 4G Module:
ID of product: 0x581d
ID of maker: 0x03f0 (Hewlett Packard)

but there is not an interface to be added in Preferences->network.

I tried to install the driver provided into MobilePartner of Huawei (MobileConnectDriver.pkg), and to check if it appears in to /dev (ls /dev), but no luck!, so I think the problem is that there is no driver for it.

I googled it but I have not found useful info at all to make it work under Yosemite. Anyone succeed or tried it?
thanks!

HP lt4112 - work in Yosemite.

Need add USB identificators to Huawei Drivers... Instruction in next post...

Manual for running HP LT4112 in Yosemite.

1. Update latest firmware for HP LT4112 version 12.500.00.10.1803 (From Windows):
(Recommended. I have this version. On older firmware not tested...)

Description:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69001-69500/sp69476.html
Download:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp69001-69500/sp69476.exe

2. Install Huawei Mobile Partner 23.015.11.01.983 for OS X (in attach)

Huawei Mobile Partner contains Huawei Data Card Driver 5.01.09.00 and will install it automatically.

3. Install Legacy.kext for LT4112 (in next post)

I did Legacy collaboration with the driver version 5.01.09.00.
With other versions is not guaranteed ...

4. Reboot and use...

Update Legacy for LT4112 to version 2:

For stability, I changed identifications for all ports:
from idVendor + bInterfaceSubClass + bInterfaceProtocol
to idVendor + idProduct + bConfigurationValue + bInterfaceNumber

Legacy Ver2 in attach:

Would you mind posting a photo of the module of how it is built in? I'm considering buying it (since there is an empty socket) but want to be sure that the two black wires are the already installed antennas...

Thanks!
