Is Apple becoming an evil empire?

I came across this article in my local on-line paper and before you click on Agree maybe you should read the 60+ pages too. I am rid of Apple's chicanery since I sold my iMac as I also had some very unpleasant experience with their idea of fair play.

You haven't seen an evil empire like US healthcare/insurance companies.
Apple is a freaking saint compared to US health insurance companies.
At least with Apple, you know beforehand how much you're going to pay and what you're getting in return. -- and you enjoy the benefits of what you paid for (apps, movies, games, magazine). Not so with health insurance companies.

All big companies could be seen as evil in some way..

Apple are doing pretty well on the environmental front... Oops with no more EPEAT stars as the Retina Display MBP is very difficult to dismantle so therefore recycle according to EPEAT.. But apart from that..

Pushing technology forward in a useful way...

A little evil perhaps but still very loveable when its yours!!
