Is a BIOS update necessary here?

hey guys...

my BIOS (Gigabyte P55-UD3) is on version F4 right now... the dsdt on tonys page says BIOS F8...
Does that mean i have to update my BIOS first for MultiBeast to work properly?

If so... can i update from F4 to F8 directly or should i go from F4 -> F5 , 6, 7 ?

(i never got audio working with MultiBeast yet... do you think it was because of my old bios and an incompatible DSDT?)

You should upgrade to the current version and you can update directly from F4 to F8.
