Hello,

I've been struggling for a few hours trying to make my new Yosemite installation recognize my iDevices. The USB works with everything else except these devices, it works with every stick, with my camera and microphone. What could be the problem ?

I tried installing IOUSBFamily.kext but it does not loaded because a different IOUSBFamily is loaded first. I attached an image to ask you if (999.9.9) is normal. Could this be a problem ?

Any other pointer ?

[SUCCESS] iPhone/iPad not recognized in Yosemite

Success! In my case the problem was with a BIOS settings. "EHCI Hand-Off" was disabled and after i enabled it and restarted, my iDevices started to be recognized immedietly.

EHCI Hand-OFF: This is a workaround for OSes without hand-off support. The EHCI ownership change should be claimed by the EHCI driver.
