I have IOGear GBU521 , Simple solution in Mojave 10.14.5 :1. Disable Intel Bluetooth(If you have) ;2.Remove BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext from S/L/E and EFI/Clover/kexts/Other ;3.Use Kext Utility to reset the cache/permissions ; -- Perfect working for me .
THANK YOU David.
I just bought the IOGEAR GB521 and started to panic because it didn't work "out of the box", nothing happened.
I dreaded having to fiddle with kext and clover files etc.
But I saw your post and simply tried. I:
Disabled internal bluetooth in the BIOS of my Intel NUC8I7BEH
Mounted the EFI partition, and removed the two kext you mentioned.
Downloaded Kext Utility and launched it, then rebooted.
And it worked flawlessly. I can now connect my Apple Keyboard, MX Anywhere 2S mouse and AirPods pro, thank you so much.
