Hello everyone,

I used the latest UniBeast to create an installer on a USB drive. When trying to boot from USB to get to the installer I get a kernel panic with the kernel extension in backtrace of IOBluetoothHostController. If I use the -x boot flag to boot in safe mode, the installation is successful. However, MultiBeast fails because it cannot mount the EFI partition while in safe mode. Any ideas of how to solve the kernel panic? I've attached an image of the log below. Thank you.

I saw that volsfan0911 was having the exact same problem as us http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/kernel-panic-help-requested-please.192385/. I did not see his post earlier. Anyways, he came up with a solution. He disabled serial IO in the BIOS. That worked for him and worked for me too. Now I can boot out of safe mode and make it to the installer window. I have other issues beyond that, but that's a story for another day.

Known problem. Disabling Serial Port in the BIOS fixes this problem.
