Hi there!

Can't seem to get the IO Gear Bluetooth 4.0 dongle working in Sierra.

Looks like my Hack thinks Bluetooth is working OK, it's showing it's "on" but I can't see any devices.

Tried a USB 2.0 and 3.0 port. Restarting, etc.

Running a 6700K on a Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI.

What should I do?

Thanks,
Lucas

I know this won't be useful, but I'm having the exact same problem. Same adapter, not working. I need this fix just as bad as you do, so I hope someone can help.

I fixed it by installing only BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext v2.2.0 NOT BrcmPatchRAM.kext!.
It can be found on RehabMan's bitbucket here.
Also do I have FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext but I don't think these are required for that.

The above kext worked for me too. It still took a little while to get my keyboard and trackpad to connect the first time. Holding down the silver power button on the Magic Trackpad may have helped, but I'm really not sure. But with the kext, everything for me now works great!!
