Internet slows down on p55-UD2

I am having a problem with my Internet connection.

It some times slows down, and almost â€hangs†for 20-30 s. And then it suddenly works at full speed again. It happens maybe 2-3 time a hour. There is no problem in Windows 7.

I have a P55-UD2, and have use tonymacx86 boot CD and DSDT for the installation of SL 10.6.2 64bit.

Dose any one have idea what the cause can be?

I doubt this is due to a OS networking issue. What type of traffic is it that you are noticing a slow down on? It may be some sort of QOS issue or ISP packet resetting to interfere with bandwidth consumption.

1. t*****ts?
2. ISP?
3. Wireless or wired?
4. Type of router?

As to why it does not happen in win7, good question. One that we hopefully can answer once you give more details

It happens when I sufe on the Internet.
I use wired Ethernet.

The speed of t*****ts don’t slow down, it’s only when I browse the net. Its like there is a problem sending request too the server. But its not a hardware error, because there I no problem in win 7.

My ISP is Yousee (Denmark) and the router is a Netgear CVG824G.

I haven't noticed any weirdness on my UD2 as far as ethernet goes.
