Mojave build using 'vanilla' Multibeast options. Everything works great.
Recently added an internal hot-swap bay and drives connected at boot are recognized but I cannot hot-swap them.

SATA port Hot Plug is enabled in Bios.
No SATA options were check-boxed in Multibeast.

Does anyone know how to fix SATA hot swapping so it works like USB external?

You could try this SATA Hotplug KextsToPatch entry and see if it works.

I believe this patch is supposed to work in Mojave and possibly Catalina.

Yes, I am using this patch on my main system with MacOS Mojave (Clover 4920) and Catalina (Clover 5119) and SATA hot plug works in both OS.

For High Sierra there is a different Clover patch that achieves the same results :

Thanks for the help and confirmation! Hot swap disk shows up in orange and works as intended.
You're a lifesaver!
