I have a Samsung NP530U3C-A04PT laptop, I followed the https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-laptop-backlight-control-using-applebacklight-injector-kext.218222/ guide to get brightness working, it works the only problem and that the internal monitor is left with the transparent gray image control picture attached to be able to see the problem better.

Used system: macOS Mojave

Note: even in the high sierra the same happened I could never solve

Your Samsung laptop probably uses eDP, which is not supported by Apple.

How do I know if I use this? if ah use some solution to have brightness to work?
