Internal mic no workie

Greetings fellow hackintites!

I am enjoying what seems to be a very stable OSX build which I have already shared in the success story section, perhaps even a bit prematurely. This weekend I installed facetime only to find that my internal mic does not work, (the internal camera works as advertised). I didn't have an external mic to try, so I used a USB camera, which worked fine, both video as well as audio resolving the immediate issue.

Here is my build:

A standard Dell Vostro 1710, with Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Here is what works:
- Wireless
- Touchpad
- Batter indicator
- Bluetooth
- DVD Drive
- Display settings
- Sound quality is good, even very good
- All the USB ports
- It will tether nicely to my iPhone

I am good with UNIX/Linux command line, but am a little shy on MAC OSX knowledge.

I think that is everything. If anyone has an idea of where, (and how - OSX knowledge is weak), to start looking I would appreciate it!

The mfgr for the internal camera and mic are Liteon Tsingma. I can't seem to find a kext for this. Any pointers / ideas?
