Internal HDD WD Red 8TB not showing up after reboot HS 10.13.6.
It Shows up on the first startup of the computer.
But then if i restart the computer the HDD disappears.

Then for it to show up i have to shut down the computer and then turn off the power supply to the computer and then when i turn it back on t shows up.

Same problem with one of my internal SSDs! Recently replaced a Samsung with a Seagate and same problem so it's nothing to do with the disk. I always shut down, disconnect the ssd and reconnect and then it works again.

Do you think it's specific to HS 10.13.6? That's what I'm running now, will upgrade to Mojave soon.

Had the same issue. Try disabling aggressive lpm support in Bios Sata settings and activate Hot Plug options for corresponding drives. That's what did the trick for me in HS 10.13.6
