A few months ago my hackintosh stopped working, the SSD drive crapped out. The HDD drive was perfectly fine before (I used it to store all my Apple Logic Music Data) but now I can't access the information anymore.
I did replace the SSD drive and made a new installation of Snow Leopard, but that is the only change I made to the computer.
When I start up it does say something along the lines of "Cannot initialize disk". I tried to use the Disk Repair tool, but it doesn't give any options to repair the disk. The good thing is I can see it in the Disk Repair tool - though the only option it looks like I have is to wipe the disk and start over, which I don't want to do (a few years of work on the HDD).
Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
