Hi,

Wanted to migrate my hackintosh to an MBP so wouldn't have to reinstall everything, and it worked pretty well. It wouldn't shut down, but then I removed two kexts that shouldn't have been there (FakeSMC and one other one I noticed) (by the way, weird that migration assistant moves kexts) and then it shut down fine.

The only problem I am noticing now is that the audio is tinny and seems to be coming out of the right side only. Moving the balance slider doesn't solve the issue. There is no bass. it's horrible compared to how it should be (I did a side by side with another one).

Could this potentially be something related to audio drivers? Or should I assume it's hardware related? My hackintosh had ALC887 sound on a DS3H motherboard, if that matters. I did check to see if there were any voodoo or alc887 kexts on the macbook pro but there are not.

Thanks
