Intel Xeon E3 Series CPU for OSx86??

Does iBoot+MultiBeast support Xeon E3 Series CPU(Sandy Bridge)?
I am now having my eye on Xeon E3-1235.

I would like a Gigabyte Z68 mobo.
To be exact, it is GA-Z68XP-UD3R.

Just wanna make sure if Intel Xeon E3-1235 would work on:
1) Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3R
2) OSx86

If not, I would just go back to my old choices: i5-2400 or i7-2600.

The benefit i know for Xeon is support for ECC memory. In other case it is just like an i7 processor in performance. I think it will work

Maybe I need to ask MacMan to learn the method of decompiling a BIOS.
If we are able to decompile it, we can get to know if Xeon E3 is supported by Gigabyte Z68 mobos.

Like I said Gigabytes website for your board will have a CPU list and list all compatible CPUs.

@uxczs I also believe that the E3-1235/E3-1230 is the best processor performance/money.

I am also looking to build a portable OS X workstation, mini itx with this CPU.
So far I've found that these 1155 mobos are confirmed to work with E3 Xeon.

I'll probably chose AsRock H67M-ITX as it has mini pci-e port and I can use my Apple broadcom Wifi adapter. I would prefer GA-H67N-USB3-B3 but it lacks mini pci-e and wireless.

Anyway, I would really appreciate it if anyone can confirm if AsRock H67M-ITX + E3-1230 works with iBoot+MultiBeast.

Could you please confirm if intel XEON 1230 works with any of the following motherboards. I already have Intel core i7 3.4 GHz with Intel DH67 CL. If the xeon works with any of the boards I can change. Any help much appreciated.
