Intel UHD 620 graphics

daveuz, I have the same problem with a HP (elitebook) with i5-8250U and UHD 620, seems like QE/CI not working with any of the tried methods (FakePCIID... WEG... 1916..5616...etc).

in case you want to follow, it could help you too.
In my case, video works so far... I get Full HD, etc. even the HDMI output, but is laggy, so full video acceleration is not working in my case.

I installed Lilu.kext IntelGraphicsFixUp.kext FakePCIID.kext FakePCIID_.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext then i used Fake ID for IntelGFX (0x19168086) and put 0x19160000 for the ig-platform-id

dont forget to reboot with an invalid platform id (0x12345678)
run sudo kext cache -u /
then reboot with the valid id (0x19160000)

Hi, just also looking for some help with the resolution with my laptop.

I am running UHD 620 successully via the platform-id: 59160009 however my internal display resolution is 1366x768, instead of 1080p as the laptop allows. I have just realised this might be an issue because my laptop is 15.5" and the Laptop specified in my about this mac is only 13"? the SMBIOS i am using is macbook pro 15,2 as I have read this is the best for this laptop.

Any help would be great! Thanks

PS: also have a fair few other problems that I can't seem to fix, I am new to this and kind of just learning as I go.

Hey I have Intel UHD 620 graphics with processor i5 8250u and I have tried various methods to fix the graphic showing 7 MB but none of them worked ! Do you guys have any idea how to fix this ?

This might be a wrong thread since I am installing Catalina, but I can confirm that UHD 620 works out-of-the-box on Kaby Lake R (i3 8130U) with RehabMan config_HD615_620_630_640_650.plist. I followed this guide:
