there's only one internal mSATA port.

No Wifi and Bluetooth?

Hello,

i installed my Intel NUC DC3217IYE with OS X 10.8.2 (-v -x) today
and used the following multibeast (5.2.0) settings:
- UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation
- 10.8.1+ TRIM Patch
- FakeSMC Plugins
- Intel - hnak's AppleIntelE1000e
- Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement OS X 10.8.x
- System Definitions > Mac mini > Mac mini 6,1

i added a 64 GB Crucial m4 SSD and 4GB DDR3-1333 Corsair Ram.

Works awesome! It's really quiet and it boots so fast to os x.
Perfect machine for media consumption
(okay... you need external usb-soundcard for that ;)).

Now i hope my ordered mini-pci-e wifi atheros 9280 will work
and i'm searching a cool wireless keyboard and mouse (in black!) for that build.

Does sleep/wake work? Why you need USB sound card? HD4000 HDMI should work

Hey,

yes your right hdmi audio shall/will work
Tony posted the right topic already.

I will try this today.
So my correct statement should be ' >I< need usb audio because i use a dvi screen' :)

Sleep/wake works well. The powerbutton blinks and syste wake
Up when pushing or pressimg Keyboard

I noticed that with the system definition mac mini 6,2
my processor clock is limited to 1,7 GHz (supports max 1,8) and multiplier
Is at x17 most of the time (it sometimes jump down to x8)

Can you recommend a system defintion?
Mac pro 3,1 had no qe/ci and 1024x768 res.

Try to use macmini 5.1 system definition. There could be a problem with the latest system definition in MB.

i think with a card in the half pci-e slot ,am i right ?

That is correct. Pop an Atheros or Broadcom card in there and you have Wifi. I don't know if there are any Wifi/Bluetooth combos that work with Mac OS X.

how about the storage ? are there any sata ports ?

It only has the one internal mSATA slot. But that's why they put Thunderbolt on the "high-end" model - this device is *tiny*, too small to fit even an internal 2.5" SSD.
