Just to make clear I searched for this question before posting.

I'm planning on using this particular Intel NUC for my first build:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H3YT886/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=

I just want to make sure that this is compatible with Mavericks. I saw this build on YouTube with a previous generation of the Intel NUC (I believe) and really liked it. I'm open to suggestions for other micro-PCs if anyone has any. Thanks!

I personally attempted to install OS X on this model, and I finally gave up and returned it, replacing it with the previous model (Ivy Bridge) NUC DC3217BY (the maroon Thunderbolt model). It may have been possible to eventually get the Haswell i3 NUC working, but I was under a time constraint to get it done before my wedding so I had to throw in the towel. Lots of folks have gotten the Haswell i5 NUC working (thanks to a couple of user builds/guides here on the forums), but not the i3 as far as I know.

You might want to take a look at the Gigabyte Brix PCs - similar form factor (slightly bigger I believe), and several people have them running OS X.
