My guess is the rumored iMac 'Pro', and or lower end 2018 Mac Pro's will have this chipset.

How cool would it be for new Mac Minis to have this chipset as well?

If the 2018 Mac Pro allows for a low end X299 one cpu socket or higher end dual cpu sockets - they may get a ton of users excited. Better yet having multiple hot swappable m.2 drives in an iMac Pro, and or new mac pro would be incredible. Kind of how you insert RAM into the current generation iMacs lift the lid and pop in NVME drives (instead of having to tear open the screen...etc.

I don't think any of us are telepathic, but, if Apple makes an iMac Pro and/or Mac Pro with these processors, I think so. Keep in mind that Coffee Lake won't appear to us in the retail market place until Fall of this year, at the earliest.
