HD4600+/HD4000/HD3000 Framebuffer Edits

Hey, I have a Dell 7520 laptop with successfully running Mavericks. My main graphics card was not supported, so I am using the onboard HD4000. The problem is that HDMI and DVI do not work. :( Could I apply your guide to my laptop as it says desktop only?
Thanks.

HDMI and DVI video usually work with framebuffer DP connectors. Assuming you use the Capri/0x03006601 framebuffer and HDMI is on Port 0x5, try this edit:
AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri binary

Native 03:
03 00 66 01 01 02 04 02 00 00 00 04
00 00 00 01 00 00 00 20 10 07 00 00
10 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
05 03 00 00 02 00 00 00 30 00 00 00
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00
03 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00
04 06 00 00 00 04 00 00 81 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 02 00 11 00 00 00 00

Hex editor (i.e., HexEdit, HexFiend)

port 0x5 DP>HDMI
Find:
02 05 00 00 00 04 00 00 07 04 00 00
Replace:
02 05 00 00 00 08 00 00 06 00 00 00

Save, install and restart.

The Capri-id is in fact 03. I changed the values, but still no video-out on hdmi or either dvi...

Hello I am experiencing the following graphics issues (please see attached image) on a 27" monitor (2560 X 1440) using an Intel NUC DC3217BY running 10.9.3.

I used a patched AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext as per this thread -

http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...rbolt-edition-non-thunderbolt-edition-21.html

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

No edits required with DP; restore native Capri. Try GraphicsMode=2560x1440x32.

g is for the original setup, 2 DP and DVI. Reply with IOReg.

Hi toleda.
Here you have two more ioregs with g-patch.
I don't really know what you mean by original setup but i assume you mean that setup I originally was trying to imply.

A-ioreg is native HDMI to Harman-amp and native DVI to InFocus (no audio) projector. HDMI from GTX680 to Pioneer TV.
B-ioreg is Thunderbolt port to HDMI (mini display adapter) to Pioneer TV. Native HDMI to Harman-amp and Native DVI to InFocus (no audio) projector.

Only working sound in B is Pioneer TV.
Any clues?
