intel HD and 940M

Hey everyone!
I have heard that due to nvidia optimus using both my GPU's in not possible, but sometimes I find conflicting facts. So I have found the following post: https://www.******.com/r/hackintosh/comments/37lr5a/dual_graphics_card_guide/ This is essentially saying you can select a program to use a curtain GPU. When I last hackintoshed, and went into system info somewhere I could see my intel HD as the first GPU and my nvidia 940M (or something like a dedicated GPU) on the second place. So my question is, is there like nothing I can do with this 940M gpu, which I really need for unreal engine work and some video editing, or is there a way to use my 940M? I do not care about powerusage !

Specs for reference:
cpu: intel core 15-4210M @ 2.6GHz (turbo to 3.2), 2 cores, 4 threads, 3MB cache.
gpu: NVidia geforce 940M
memory: 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X IMPACT 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3
SSD: 120GB KINGSTON V300 SSD, SATA 6 Gb (450MB/R, 450MB/W)
HHD: 1TB SERIAL ATA II 2.5" HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE
The laptop is a half custom 15,6 inch Clevo W650SB.
