Intel HD 530 only has 7MB of Graphics RAM

I have successfully built the my system using the latest Sierra installation guide. However, the system only shows 7MB for the integrated video.

I'm using the integrated HD530 with HDMI output. Just want to see if someone can help me out and see what I did wrong for the graphic setting.

Likely cause (no ioreg attached, no EFI/Clover attached, so it is a guess...)
You didn't set config.plist/Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x19120000 and you probably have a old version of Clover that doesn't have a sensible default for HD530.

Did you remove FakeId, Skylake glitch fix, FakePCIID and FakePCIID_HD_Graphics?

Yes on previous 10.12.3 I set ID and sky lake glitch fix (no Fake PCIID/HD ).On 10.12.4 remove skylake glitch fix, ID and HD530 works very well. Whatever You set or not Intel HD530 works properly (exception sleep ). Test on motherboard GA Z170-HD3P / 6700K . Video output HDMI or DVI.

Thanks RehabMan. Would you mind pointing me to what I need to do to get those info for you?

Hi
New to the thread, but to me, this helped a lot. Had same issues with only 7MB of VRAM, but after the kext-patch and installing HD530 from MultiBeast graphics works without glitches and i also got 1536MB VRAM in system info.
Thanks a lot.

I have the same problem with the 530! T.T

have you guys fixed it?

Big Thanks!! It's finally works!!! I finally got 1536MB VRAM!
could you please share your EFI working folder, I have same machine dell optiplex 3040

After having spent too many hours on this particular issue, I finally seem to have found a solution that works for me.

It consists of downloading and moving the kext called IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext (v. 1.2.2) to the folder EFI>Clover>kexts>Other
(The developer states that it is now part of "WhateverGreen", which strangely would not solve my problem.)

And downloading and putting the kext Lilu.kext in the folder EFI>Clover>kexts>Other

I then set whatever IntelGFX Fake ID I had tried back to 0x0, and ig-platform-id to 0x12345678

I do not inject Intel under 'Graphics' (but it was useful a couple of times between tries when failing to boot otherwise).
I did at one point change Rt Variable 'CsrActiveConfig' to 0x67 (which disables SIP), but it seems to work back at 0x3 as well.

SMBIOS: iMac14,2.
macOS X 10.13 High Sierra (I'll try to update this post if I have relevant problems under a later version of High Sierra).

Hello,

I have the same problem with HD 530 Skylake High Sierra. I have tried many variations. Can anyone help?
My pc is a Lenovo thinkcentre M900 tiny. I set the VRAM 64MB and max 256MB in the BIOS.
