So I've got 10.8.3 installed on my new Asus Laptop, (x550CA, Pentium 2117U, Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000)
I've got it running, ethernet and sound working, but I cant get full accelerated graphics working.

Full resolution works out of the box but graphics are slow and glitchy.
I've tried several kexts but it seems like theyre all for the Desktop HD 4000

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You don't have HD4000, only HD Graphics which won't work.

You don't have the HD4000 but the HD2500. The HD2500 works perfectly. Read this article.

Yeah you guys are right, I was getting my info from here, http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/X550CA/#specifications, silly website didn't specify the graphics is based on the cpu, and Im new to this generation of CPU's and laptops in general.

GPU-Z confirms I've got the basic "Intel HD Graphics"

Always double check and cross reference the CPU manufactures website with the CPU model number - it is always more accurate.

I fixed the problem... went and bought a laptop that actually has the HD 4000
