It is definitely working... Looks like Mojave has native support for device-id 0x0152.
Note:
Code:
NUC6i7KYK:~ rehabman$ grep 0x01528086 -R /System/Library/Extensions/
/System/Library/Extensions//AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/Info.plist: <string>0x01528086 0x01568086 0x01628086 0x01668086</string>
/System/Library/Extensions//AppleIntelHD4000Graphics.kext/Contents/Info.plist: <string>0x01528086 0x01568086 0x01628086 0x01668086</string>

It is because real iMac13,x are using the Core i5-3xx0S with HD2500 [8086:0152], but configured with Nvidia dGPU, HD2500 is working in connector-less renderer mode.

Quick update, I changed the processor in the computer to the i5-3470! Drum roll, it works with full acceleration and everything.
I will send all file later this afternoon.

In addition to just uploading your files it would be helpful if you would summarize the complete process/steps you went through from making a Unibeast 9.0 installer (or if you used Createinstallmedia method) through to your post install methods. Post a screenshot of what is in /L/E. Are you using a DP to DP cable with your monitor or using some kind of DP to HDMI adapter ?

You can start a new thread on this in Mojave Desktop guides if you'd like.

That way others can follow along and then test and verify for themselves what you've accomplished.

But previously there were issues with HD2500 due to it being GT1 (support was there, then removed, now back again).

Any idea why Apple would add support back in for HD2500 when they've dropped support for HD3000 in Mojave ?
Dropping HD3000 implies that it is not Metal 2 capable yet HD2500 is inferior to HD3000.

I don't know, my i5-3570 HD2500 + GT640 is working fine on Mojave 18A391.

HD4000, HD2500 are gen7 GPU, they can hardware decode H.264 up to 4K, hardware decode JPEG/MJPEG
HD3000 is gen6 GPU, it can hardware decode H.264 up to 2K
