Intel Graphic Media Acceleration 4500 (GMA 4500)

Hello guys!!

I m here to write about this because there are lots of people who are desperate with this graphic card like me!!

Until now we have a patched driver from GMA X3100 which give us the native resolution but no Hardware acceleration at all!!! and a modified chameleon which does pretty much the same brought us by Deviato (see his blog for more information)

And you probably know that it's a huge problem because something like 50% of the applications require QE/CI to work (VLC, iPhoto, Imovie, Idvd etc.)

Now since nobody was able to make it work on this graphic card (which is used by many Acer and Dell notebook just like in many desktop pc I believe) I m strongly asking you for a help.

I do hope to make it working with your help!!

Moved to correct forum, Laptops.

Makes me think twice about buying a netbook/weak laptop.

I can't provide any help, I'm a noob and have only dealt with Nvidia installations.

However, I strongly do support this. Hopefully someone will make the osx86 community happy with their findings.
