Installing / mounting dmg issue

Hello,
I have a clean High Sierra install (nvidia web drivers, audio, ethernet working) and now I'd like to start using it.
I installed spotify, vs code, chrome and now I'm trying to install MySQL and SequelPro but they won't mount. They mount into a "GoogleSoftwareUpdate-1.2.8.82" volume. In that volume I can see the .pkg of the app but it won't install.

What could be causing this?

I managed to make it work once by doing Disk Utility>File>Open Disk Image and it mounted correctly.
However after installing and wanting to install something else it took the name of the previous installed image!
So after installing SequalPro and wanting to install MySQL the image had the name "SequalPro"

That's odd. We might need to keep an eye on this bug.
