Hi,

Today I received my new laptop and I've been trying to install High Sierra on it the whole day, but almost nothing is working as expected! Here's list of some of the issues which I'm facing:
- Keyboard and touchpad doesn't work at all
- Wifi card is not detected
- Graphic card is not detected ( Shows 31MB )
- No input/output detected for sound
- USB ports only works if the device is connected before booting up

Just wondering if anyone has experience with running hackintosh on latest series of zenbook pro ?

I tried to use "MacBookPro15,1" as my system definition since this model uses the same CPU ( I9-8950HK ), but there's no such option on MultiBeast.
Once I tried Clover Configurator and manually set the system to MacBookPro15,1, but then the OS was failing to boot up!
So I had to reinstall everything once again.

I also tried some of the kexts like ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext, AsusNBFnKeys.kext and Battery - ACPIBatteryManager.kext from this repo:
https://github.com/javanesse/Asus-ROG-GL552JX-High-Sierra-10.13-Hackintosh/tree/master/Kexts Ready to Use
But unfortunately nothing seems to be working at all.

Is there any way to keep the EFI partition safe ? so in case of a failure like I had with system definition how can I fix it ?
In general I would really appreciate any tips to fix any of the listed issue.

Thanks a lot

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"
