Hi all,

I had a perfectly running chimera Yosemite install.
I tried to install El Capitan using Clover. All went well until last time reboot. Just before the final setup stage.
After mounting the six SATA drives i can see something with "iMac" then the system reboots.
I know chimera used to give this system a MacPro 3.1 profile maybe that is going wrong??

System:
MB: ds55 intel (h55)
CPU: 550 I3 intel
GTX 650 Nvidia

Please help me!

Thanks in advance.

Thank you ferry much for helping!! I am really stuck. I am desperate!
So any advice in the right direction is super appreciated.

Here is my screen shot.

Ammulder!

You are the hero of the day!:clap::clap::thumbup:

Couldn't find that file first but i did after a while. i could remove it with the terminal from the installer USBstick. i used the command:

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/EvOreboot.kext

So without sudo because that command was not found. than restarted with cashes (without not booting)

And that was it!!!

Thanks so much!

It's always nice when people get their hackintoshes to work. I personally think things like these are the ones that give you the most satisfaction. "Fixing problems is the opposite of fun" is what some people tend to say, but I say no! Fixing problems is one of the most satisfying things ever; ofc it would be better if there were no problems at all, but still...it's fun.

Good Job Ammulder. I love the spirit of solidarity in forums like these.
