Installation of Mojave crashing at 2 Minutes remaining

Hey everyone! First post here.

I’m trying to install MacOS Mojave on a new build and am running into some issues.

The installer boots fine, but when installing the OS, it crashes around 2 minutes remaining.

The build is as follows:

CPU: i7 8700k
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero XI
RAM: 16GB G.Skill 3200
GPU: MSI RX Vega 64 8GB OC Air Boost
Storage: Inland 512GB NVMe m.2 PCIe SSD

Note: I watched the installer log, and the last error reported before freezing is: disk24s1 cannot be converted to APFS file system.

Any thoughts?

Search the forum for "2 min remaining". In my case the issue was due to the install not being about to reset the PC and the trick was do to reset it manually and let it continue the process. In my case I need to do this twice.
