Hi,
I have been trying to install Lion using Unibeast as documented here: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/ ... using.html
I have a 'Install Mac OS Lion.app' which I wrote to a USB stick.
However, when I try to install from the USB stick, it hangs on the following lines:
DSMOS has arrived
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::startForReal - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out
AppleIntelE1000e: Ethernet Address ...
And then nothing happens.
My setup:
Intel DH55TC --onboard graphics, audio, network
Intel Core i3-540 CPU
Corsair 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory
I have set my BIOS to use AHCI And S3 power managment.
I have tried various boot setting: PCIRootUID=0/1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No
Nothing makes a difference.
Interestingly, my Snow Leopard (10.6.0) install disk manages to install Snow leopard with iBoot (albeit with only 1024x768 graphics). However, when the same problem happens when when I reboot after an install of the 10.6.8 combo update.
Any tips would be welcome. If this system is not supported, that would also be good to know.
Thanks.
