I'm currently trying to set up my first Hackintosh. I've followed a vanilla guide, as well as the guide on this forum. Neither seems to work and the system freezes or reboots right after showing the apple logo and reaching ~3% of the progress bar.

The hardware:
Mainboard: Gigabyte Z390 M GAMING
CPU: i5-8600K
No external GPU

I've attached the EFI folder I'm currently using, which is basically the default UniBeast EFI folder with only the Intel Framebuffer patching applied (maybe incorrectly?). I've tried many different approaches over the last few days, including:
- most recent Clover, WhateverGreen, Lilu, etc. versions
- verbose mode, safe mode, nv_disable, etc
- VirtualSMC/FakeSMC
- with/without framebuffer patch
- USB 3 port, USB 2.0 port
- Z390 firmware F2 and F5 (flashed F5 yesterday)

Currently I don't know what else I could try, the other posts with similar hardware in this forum seem to at least get to the installer user interface... So I would be really, really grateful if someone could help me!

Thanks!

The same situation encountered with the intel NUC8I board.

Do you know what is causing the crash? Did it work using 10.14.3 or earlier?

What cause the problem seemed to be the bios ver.0066
