i installed os x successfully. after it restarted for the first time, it stuck on apple logo, but i can hear apple's introduction. the apple gray logo won't disappear, but seems that the program went through. any thoughts? i have tried reinstalling it, but still the same.

before the Apple Grey screen, there should be a screen on which HD you want to boot off. At that point, hit space bar and type -v (for verbose boot mode), and then "Enter". Let it boot and tell us where it stops at.

If you cannot get to the installation screen, type PCIRootUID=1 before hitting enter or -x. this fixed my problem.
