[Success] Install Ventura on the HP ProDesk 600 G3 with OC 0.8.6

The colors of those two images look normal on my display.
that is because it is a screenshot made with software on the mac and not a photograph taken from a phone :)

Interesting. When I use this monitor on my Linux Box (Mint) the colors look fine too. I will try another monitor and the other DP port.

I fixed the colors by setting the DeviceProperties based on:

WhateverGreen/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md at master · acidanthera/WhateverGreen · GitHub

as:

platform ID should be 00001259

may not need deviceID (as you have that in wrong as well)
I started with this:

but the screen colors were scrambled. For example, skin tones were blue. I use the guide reference above and the colors are normal now. I also noticed that the ram on HD 630 dropped by about a half. Not sure what the significance of that it is. If there is another (proper) way to do it, I would like to know.

@trs96 I am still struggling with booting from the SSD. I installed Ventura on another SSD (meant to be my production SSD) and all looked good a couple of reboots. Now I get this on reboot. At times selecting Ventura icon it boots and other times it fails. Restarting seems to help, but that could be just anecdotal. I attached two logs, one with failure and one with success. I searched the OpenCore 0.8.6 documentation and this has something to do with the "pretty" boot menu, but I am not sure that I am supposed to do. I appreciate any insight. I am getting so close. The error is at the very top.

I deleted the PciRoot section to use the default value(s) and I get the weird colors again. But I note the Guide says 00001259 but the Whatevergreen guide says 0x59120000 (which give the correct colors). Am I entering the value incorrectly?

Edit: Never mind. I just re-read it more carefully and see where I am wrong.

"The bytes in Properties must be put in reversed order. For example: framebuffer 0x0166000B would be put in as 0B006601, DevID 0x1E3A would be put in as 3A1E0000."

Edit2: Still crazy colors with 00001259. Hmm...not sure what else to do.

What do you use to edit the config.plist ?
ProperTree. I tried 2358 and what the System Report shows for graphics seems ok, at least when I compare to my MacBook Pro with Iris 6100 graphics, which shows 24-bit graphics, for example.

The display mostly works, but there are times when just opening the browser (from being minimize) moves like molasses. Dragging windows around is fast. Minimizing windows takes a couple of seconds.

can you set DVMT in your bios to 64MB?

what happens when you remove the invalid device-id?
