I used the code by vulgo, but whenever the download is complete and I try to put my password in, it says that the password that I had just inputted is wrong.
I have found a app called "webdriver all versions.app", its wrote in German and it worked for me.

Chinese web explanation:

Try this script
Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113
Yo man, just want to say thank you for posting this, this needs to be on the main page for NVIDIA web drivers.

Try this script
Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113
After that script i've got black screen after boot loader... Could you please help me with resolve that....? I don't knowhow to change it...
What should i do? Fresh install? Or is there any way to uninstall that driver?

I have success HOWEVER it all reverted once I enabled SIP. I disabled SIP again and restarted and it was working again. It seems odd for the patch to require SIP disabled after its installed. Is it possible the creator has required SIP disabled as its a virus of some kind as well?

Thanks so much! I have had some intermittent problems, some to do with understanding which boot arguments to make, etc., but I got it to work. Then, I installed some security and iTunes updates, and it put me back at 5 mb display. Then re-doing the script has me currently back in action and recognizing the GPU.

I don't feel confident enough with my current hack setup to invest in anything like Logic Pro X, though if I can get this anywhere near as stable as my other machine, an old upgraded Dell T3500, I'll be very happy. If not, I may be tempted to steal the RX 580 temporarily from the Dell to replace the 1080 ti in this one. Anyway, thanks for helping to give me a chance to even be able to evaluate this option!!!

Tired Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113
Rebooted my machine now the display it glitched and can't login. Also with this build i can't get on board WI-FI or Ethernet to work.

Do you understand what happened, and why?

1. You had the machine stable.
2. You got it to work by applying new nVidia drivers.
3. You applied a security update, which almost always breaks nVidia drivers.
4. You then had to apply new nVidia drivers.

Hey all,

This worked for me on my little special X58\Legacy\17G66 build. What a pain. So I ended up installing the driver as suggested, then came back to my plist and disabled Nvidia injection but left the web driver ticked and that worked perfectly. I downloaded the latest version of Cuda and got my little 1060 going no problem.

This little system has been a challenge, working with;

Sabertooth x58 MB (1304)
i7 950 - soon to be X5670 (once I get everything stable)
Hyper 212 Evo (see if it can keep the Xeon in check)
EVGA GTX 1060 3gb
12gb Ram
1TB SSD SandDisk Plus
3TB HGST Enterprise HD
PSU Cooler Master 500w

So far my biggest headache was making the EFI partition SSD bootable. Multibeast just wouldn't\couldn't get it to boot (blinking cursor syndrome) that was fun. So I ended up using Chameleon to make it bootble. That made more problems than it solved. Made the system crawl - tried lots of different things to fix that. In the end I booted with the USB one more time and moved the EFI folder over from the USB and that fixed the speed issues and the SSD continued to boot as expected... so very cool little trick there.

Next;

Sound
Network

Right now I have a cool little USB wireless deal I got at amazon for 10bucks!

Once I get that done, it'll be another hack completed - it's my 4th one HEHE.

Just wanted to give props for all the feedback on this thread and in this forum. If I ever need to solve a problem, I know that I can always find the answer here. Just have to get that elbow grease going.

So thanks for that!
