I used the code by vulgo, but whenever the download is complete and I try to put my password in, it says that the password that I had just inputted is wrong.
I have found a app called "webdriver all versions.app", its wrote in German and it worked for me.

After using
Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113
I have success HOWEVER it all reverted once I enabled SIP. I disabled SIP again and restarted and it was working again. It seems odd for the patch to require SIP disabled after its installed. Is it possible the creator has required SIP disabled as its a virus of some kind as well?

Thanks so much! I have had some intermittent problems, some to do with understanding which boot arguments to make, etc., but I got it to work. Then, I installed some security and iTunes updates, and it put me back at 5 mb display. Then re-doing the script has me currently back in action and recognizing the GPU.

I don't feel confident enough with my current hack setup to invest in anything like Logic Pro X, though if I can get this anywhere near as stable as my other machine, an old upgraded Dell T3500, I'll be very happy. If not, I may be tempted to steal the RX 580 temporarily from the Dell to replace the 1080 ti in this one. Anyway, thanks for helping to give me a chance to even be able to evaluate this option!!!
