I finished my build a few weeks ago and had the same problem. However if you manage to get an internet connection and let macOs update (I am not 100% sure about the latest update), you'll get the latest build for which there is Nvidia Web Driver support, meaning that you also get the Nvidia Driver Manager panel in Settings

I don't want to force the OS to install Nvidia Driver. I finished my build last week and faced the same issue.

My GPU: GTX 1050Ti 4GB.
Mainboard: Gygabyte B360M Gaming 3 Aorus

So there were what I did:
  • Installed IntelMausi v2.4.0 to get Internet Connection.
  • Logged into the App Store and install the update from there. It would give you version 10.13.6 (17G6029).
  • Nvidia Web Driver could install normally.
Update from the Appstore may cause lost Internet connection. Rebuild the cache and reinstall IntelMausi kext will fix.

which update did you get? I am trying to get an update from App Store and its only showing me a security update and iTunes and safari updates.
I also have the exact same graphics card and my issue is also the same, neither of the scripts worked for me.

@arvindafaria, please update your profile (account details) with your Motherboard, CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card(s).
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard.

My graphics card is being detected but the drivers are not working at all and the screen is flickering too much like old TVs flicker when saw through cameras.
Help please.

For me it was a security update that did the trick, after that I was able to install the Web drivers from the Nvidia website. I assume that the build version is tied to security updates because last time I did security updates my graphics reverted to un accelerated, but I received a notification to update the Nvidia drivers soon after updating.

As others have pointed out, there might also be NVRAM issues to deal with. I vaguely remember installing a driver for it, have you got EmuVariableUefi-64 installed?

I ran Vulgo's script and there's no glitches, but it don't pick up my second monitor which is connected via HDMI > VGA adapter. It turned on once but after that it's gone.

On previous macOS releases with official nvidia web drivers it worked like a charm.

I'm also having problems getting my GTX 1050TI working. Currently I have one monitor connected to my motherboard via HDMI and a second connected to my 1050 via HDMI. I've ran Vulgo's script, and while it seems to install correctly, on reboot the 2nd monitor seems to work, but halfway through the boot it stops and the 1st monitor comes on and finishes the boot process.

I used the code by vulgo, but whenever the download is complete and I try to put my password in, it says that the password that I had just inputted is wrong.
